View Royal Out of School Care is a small non-profit childcare centre that provides before and after school care to school aged children. We also offer preschool to help prepare children to enter the school system. We were looking for improved service for our benefit members and were referred by our insurer to Integrated Benefit Solutions, an independent benefits specialist company in Victoria. They were very responsive and quickly arranged a meeting with me to review the benefits. They wanted to learn what worked, didn’t work or was missing with the objective to further customize, to ensure good value and to simplify administration. We were very happy to have an educational session on the benefits with the staff as well, and we also updated enrolments to better reflect their needs. Our emergency crews provide vital services to our community and we are proud to be of assistance. In 2015 we launched the first of its kind, a health and dental benefits plan for Volunteer Firefighters. As Nick, Chief of Dashwood Volunteer Fire Dept. says "We are very pleased with the Extended Health and Dental benefits, and it is helping us recruit members to our fire department. The plan suits the needs of all of our members and is very user-friendly. We recommend that when possible, volunteer fire departments offer these benefits to their members."
